Family, Apples & THE BEST Craft Store...EVER!!!

On a little Road Trip B, Mama & Papa, and Verenia & I went on for Mother's Day (Mama loves Road Trips), we came across an adorable little place called The Apple Store, in a little town called Medina. Growing up in California, we spent many years of our childhood going to a place called Oak Glen, which is a huge apple orchard, where you literally stand on ladders and pick your own apples! It was always such a fun treat for us kids, to run & play all through the orchards, eat the yummiest apples/candy apples, & enjoy the day with our family. So this little trip, minus my beautiful Brother Aram, who lives in Hawaii...brought back a lot of fond memories for me. Our family always loved to pack up the car & the kids...and set off on an all day adventure! We never knew where the road would take us, exactly...but it always took us to a place where memories were born, & that I will cherish forever. And my B...he is THE KING of Road Trips & is the best addition to the family! His sense of adventure & enthusiasm are two of the qualities I love most about him! He is always game...no matter what...and I LOVE that about him! He's gonna be the best Daddy! Here are some pictures from this adorable little place & the burgers...Mama said was the best burger she's ever had! Made me so happy since is was Mother's Day & all! They had all kinds of home-made apple...everything & Papa loved his apple fritter! He could eat one every day with a cup of coffee! His absolute favorite treat! I had a chicken salad sandwich that I shared with Papa, B had a bacon burger (his fav) & Verenia had a grilled cheese! Everything was oh so yummy, and oh so cute! He He. 

We had a wonderful weekend, eating yummy things, discovering new sights, & enjoying some of the best company around! I love my family so so much, but I miss my Brother every single day. But...he is literally in Paradise, living his dream & livin' the life! B & I went there (Kauai) on our Honeymoon, so we saw first hand...the rough life he leads. Ha Ha. I love you, Aram. Speaking of paradise...we went to one type of mine today! Ha Ha. A place called Hobby Lobby! 

When you are a craft/decorating freak like me...this place is absolute heaven! And I thought Michael's & JoAnne's were fun!!! This place has got it beat...by a million times! I was lovin' life! LOL. Got a few fun things to add to our collection & paint for some projects I'm working on. And don't worry...I'll be sure to post pictures of the house just as soon as it's all done! Such a huge process, but so much fun too!

Hi, Beautiful Dolls! 

I hope everyone had a beautiful Mother's Day yesterday & that today is the start of a brand-new, perfect week! 

My beautiful Aunt Nancy sent me these pictures today & I thought they were absolutely gorgeous and wanted to share. The were taken from a Lavender Farm right outside of Fredericksburg, Texas...about an hour from our new house! I have always loved Lavender, but had no idea it grew this beautifully! It looks like the south of France...can't you just smell it? Breathtaking! We'll definitely have to go see it in person! ROAD TRIP!!! Ha Ha. Thank you so much, Aunt Nancy for sharing such a beautiful sight with me...and all of us!

We're Here!

We Have Arrived!!!

Well...actually a few days ago, but we don't have our internet hooked up yet (using B's phone right now), and I've been unable to play! Ha Ha. I'm so sad I've missed so many days blogging, but so so happy a new home is the reason! I was on such a roll though. Almost every day of April had a post. But...life really does happen & I'll be sure to catch up...ASAP! We are waiting for all of B's "gadgets" to arrive from Best Buy & then all will be hooked up at the same time. 

And...yesterday...I dropped my brand new I Phone, so I have no phone either. It shattered into a million pieces & little pieces of glass are all over it! Thank Goodness I let Verizon talk me into the warranty. Ha Ha. Never dropped a phone in my life, but yes...there's a first time for everything! So...later today I'll be getting a new one, but for the time being...I am MIA & working on the house! 

Papa & Mama came over last night & "properly" welcomed us to Texas, by bringing us all kinds of home cooked love! Mama made all of B's favorites...Home-Made Mac & Cheese with Kilbasa, Biscuits & Gravy, Beef & Noodles, and the prettiest (yummiest) salad I've ever seen! Awww... SO SO sweet & I love her to death! Thank you so so much, Mama! 

So far...So perfect! Life in Texas is wonderful & we couldn't be happier! And just like our new street...it really is Paradise! For all of you that we didn't get to see before we left (which is everyone) Ha Ha...just know that it's only because it's not Goodbye...it's See You Later! We'll be back & we'll be around! This is just our residence now, but our heart belongs to many places & CA will always be our "home", because that's where we grew up & where all of you live!  

Verenia is coming this weekend for Mother's Day, so we can't wait to see her & have a wonderful visit! I'm trying to work extra hard & get as much done as possible before then!

After 3 full days of loading & some transportation malfunctions...we are FINALLY going to leave tomorrow morning! YEEAAAYYY!!!

we are finally all packed & ready to go! These guys...Gary, Fernando, Alex & Santos...are AMAZING & some of the hardest working guys I've ever seen! Thank you, with ALL of our heats! It would have taken us 10 more years to get out of here without your help! Ha Ha!

They showed up Monday morning at 8am, and all of us worked until 12:30am, that night (morning)! Long long day/night, but we got it all covered & our driver Gary was on his way! 

With everything including our beds gone...B & I had our own private slumber party in our room! SO SO fun! I live for these moments! 

After a cozy night's sleep...we were up and at it bright & early and ready to take on a new day! 

As this new day comes to and end, with B sound asleep right next to me, and my eyes closing as I type this...it's time for me to call it a day too! Sweet Dreams, Little Angels.

Moving Day!

I can't believe this day is finally here! The boxes are all packed & the truck is on it's way, and B & I couldn't be more excited! Not to leave all of you that we love so very much (you know we'll always be around & back to visit), but to start this brand new adventure in our lives! It's been a long time coming & we just feel, with all of our hearts...it's where we belong. Individually...and together. It just feels like home.  For a while now, something has been missing in my life, and for some reason...it doesn't feel that way there. I've got everything that most people would dream of- The Man of my dreams, the world's Best Family, Great Friends, Health, Jobs that I love, Wealth (Thank You, Jesus), Babies that I ADORE (D&G), but something still felt a little empty. SO difficult to describe, but something was "off". Whatever that something is...it's not missing in Texas! I feel, well...the best way to describe it is 100% at peace. You know that feeling when you walk in the door from a long day at work & your heart says, "aaahhhh"? Well...my heart didn't say that here. As amazingly beautiful as our home is/was...it never really felt like "home". Without even a chair to sit on...our new house does! And let me tell you how wonderful that feeling is! The best part though, is that (THANK GOD) B feels it too! He loves it just as much as I do, so it is completely our decision...together. In the 5 years I've been with him...I have NEVER seen him as calm & relaxed. We're both gonna live 100 years longer! Ha Ha! I can't even describe how excited I am to start building our lives as our own little Family, both now, and when we decide to have kids. I want to begin our own traditions, and start building, not just a beautiful house...but a home. For the first time...in a long time...I'm finally there. I can't wait to share all the pictures when we're all done! SO much to look forward to & SO much to be grateful for! I sure hope all of you had a beautiful Easter yesterday & that you're lives are FILLED with the peace I've been searching for.

From House...To Home,

EXTRA EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!

I interrupt your Friday morning activities to share some very big news with all of you...

Bobby & I, well...

And  the reason why this news is so big is because we are not just moving....we are moving to Texas!!! After visiting my Parents for over 3 years, falling in love with it more & more every time...we have decided to make the move & will be out of our house here, trucks packed & ready to go...at the end of this month! We are over the moon & CAN'T WAIT to start a brand new life there! Not only is it absolutely beautiful, people are the nicest people you'll ever meet...it is oh so peaceful & I swear to you...I have NEVER seen Bobby more relaxed & I am CERTAIN he will live AT LEAST 10 years longer there!

Our home is absolutely beautiful, almost castle-like & the best part...on 4 1/2 acres! SO much land & PRIVACY! No more tanning salons for me. I can now lay out in the comfort & privacy, of my own backyard paradise. Oh, and speaking of paradise...the name of our street is the cutest name ever...Paradise Point!!! We've already looked at basketball hoops, which is something I am DYING to have & another thing I am STOKED about...it has the biggest, brand spankin' new, oh so smooth driveway, for me to what...ROLLER SKATE!!! Don't think I'm not gonna plug in my Hello Kitty Boom Box, lace up my Britney Skates (thank you Tam)  & tear up that drive! Ha Ha!!!

Of course when we're all settled, we will share pictures of everything all decorated & pretty! We are so so excited! What does that mean for everyone we know & love here??? Not really too much at all. We will be back one week out of every month to see Customers, Family, & Friends, so we will definitely still be around. And to our Monavie Family...we will see you at all major functions & can't wait to share stories & have you hear about the team in San Antonio tearin' it up! Ha Ha. 

So...if we don't get to see a lot of you before we leave, just know that we will be back next month & most of you won't even know we're gone! 

I'm off to pack & start getting ready for our big day!

Texas Tales

Hi Y'all! (Ha Ha) B & I are still in Texas, visiting my Parents for the week(s) & let me just tell you how much we LOVE this place! Ever since they moved here 3 years ago (San Antonio Area), we've thought about moving here & absolutely love it! The people are the nicest people you'll ever meet, the scenery/land is to die for, the "friends" as we call them (deer, squirrels, ...) are EVERYWHERE, and the cost of living compared to California...INSANE! On one of our previous visits, we discovered a community near San Antonio called Anaqua Springs & we've found so many houses we love! Our Realtor told us that Tony Parker & Eva Longoria live in here too. Or should I say did live here. Just a fun fact, if you like either of them. Ha Ha. Here's one of the houses in this community, so you can see what we've been looking at all day today! Absolutely beautiful! 

We are SERIOUSLY considering making the move & are waiting to hear from our Realtor about a couple we really liked today. I'll keep you posted! Just might be a Little Cowgirl after all! Ha Ha. Here are a few more reasons Texas is the place to be...

Considering B & I are HUGE Basketball/Laker fans...we're gonna have to go to the Laker/Spurs games! Hopefully they won't "boo" us too much! Ha Ha!

And you KNOW how much I love my Cowboys Cheerleaders! CUTEST OUTFITS...EVER!!!

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some boots! 

But of course....my FAVORITE part of all...is my BIG TEXAS HAIR!  You know my motto..."The Higher The Hair...The Closer To God"! Ha Ha Ha. They'll think I was born & bred here!

So you never know...The Lone Star State just might be our next big adventure! Wherever the road takes us is where we're meant to be!
