As we end this year, I want to say many things to all of you, but it all can be summed up by two little words. "THANK YOU". For sticking with me, for every kind word, every follow, every new friend, every smile...every gift.
Yes..I know it's not "officially" the first of the year, but that's exactly why I didn't want to do this post until now. You see…I believe…it's never too late to start over & start creating the life you dream of! It doesn't have to be Monday, the first of the month, a brand new year, etc. Every single day, every single minute…is a chance to turn your life around & begin making your future…different from your past. If you've already broken your resolutions & are beating yourself up…STOP. Take a deep breath and start again... now. If you've eaten a bad meal & feel guilty, don't do what I do & kill it the whole day & wait until tomorrow. Make your next meal healthy. If you stopped going to the gym already…go tonight, tomorrow…whenever you can, whenever you want. We need to stop beating ourselves up & realize we're all human & we all fall…we've just gotta get back up, suck it up, & move on. EVERY MOMENT & EVERY DECISION manifests the life you've created. YOU are in charge of you & YOU can change ANYTHING you wish. NEVER let anyone tell you otherwise, in fact…stay FAR AWAY from those that throw mud on your wings. Surround yourself with those who encourage you to fly. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING & youabsolutely can…make the rest of your life…the best of your life! Don't get discouraged, don't give up, & never compare yourself to others. Whatever you covet in others…stop. If you really want what they have…YOU CAN HAVE IT. As my Mama always says, "Life is full of choices." Life is a fraction destiny, but more than that…it's 100% what you manifest. Every decision you make, what you believe, what you tell yourself, who you surround yourself with, etc. ALL of these things can change. IF only you want them to. It's as simple, and as difficult as that. Realizing this is both amazing & scary. To know that the majority of your life is what YOU create it to be can be a tough pill to swallow. The good news is…it's never too late to turn your life around. But please don't misunderstand, I am fully aware that horrible things happen to wonderful people & I'm not at all referring to those instances. That is the part of life we have absolutely no control over. But more than you know…you do have control over.
So…go out there & get the life you want. The life you dream of.
I want it for you. You want it for you. And guess what…YOU DESERVE IT.
If no one told you that today…I did.
YOU DESERVE THE ABSOLUTE WORLD & I so want you to have it!
It's not your neighbor's turn, not your friend's turn, not your co-worker's turn…
IT'S YOUR TURN!
It's time for YOU to collect on all that was made just for you!
This world is full of "should haves" & people eaten up with regrets, jealously, & misery.

As we say goodbye to 2011, a year (for me) filled with learning & growing, adventure, 1st year as as Wife (they always say the first year is the hardest & I've never believed it...until I lived it! But now...we are closer than ever & I have never been happier in love. Thank You, Jesus!), new home & new life in Texas, 1st full year as a Blogger, trials, triumphs, sadness, happiness, a major dream come true for me, a heart FILLED with more love than I could ever imagine...a wonderful year indeed. I thank God EVERY DAY for this year...and for this life I've been given. I will never take a day, a moment...for granted. Ever. I am so blessed to have THE MOST AMAZING Husband, Fur-Babies (D&G), Family, Friends, Career, Opportunities to change/touch lives, ... I am blessed far beyond measure, and grateful far beyond words. It's been a struggle, I have to say. To learn how to deal with such goodness, while so many people are struggling. Something I've had to learn to deal with, and to try my very best...to not feel guilty for the blessings in my life. I've learned to see it as a gift, and do my part to share this gift...with as many lives as possible. I believe with all my heart that we are all here for a purpose, and my purpose...is to shine my little light on this world, and touch as many hearts as I possibly can...while I'm here. I heard this song & it couldn't be more fitting... We are ALL here for a purpose & we are all given certain "gifts", and it's up to us to make this life as beautiful as we can, for ourselves...and each other. My goal has always been to do my very best...to leave this world a little bit more beautiful than I found it, and to know that at least one life was better...because I was in it. In the end...that really is...what life is all about. Not the things we buy...but the relationships we make, and the hearts we touch. NOTHING else matters, or makes your life any richer...this I can promise you. Today is a brand new day...a brand new year...and you can do with it...ANYTHING you like! It is NEVER too late to make a change, or to be what you've always wanted to be. Today really is...the first day of the rest of your life! How do you want to live it? Be remembered? What have you always wanted to do? Become? Experience? The past is your past. Done & Gone. Try your absolute best to leave it there, and believe...really believe...that EVERYTHING did/does happen for a reason, and JUST AS it is supposed to. EVERYTHING...good & bad that you experience, really truly does...make you exactly...who you are meant to be. I have lived it...and I can also promise you that! Mistakes are only mistakes if you keep making the same one. If you are learning...you are growing. There are no accidents. Only your life's plan unfolding. You are on this earth to do AMAZING things. To touch lives, inspire, dream, have abundance, to love & be loved, to encourage, & have your EVERY wish come true. There's no such thing as luck, or lucky people. We are all given the same opportunities...it's up to us to use them as we desire. That's the blessing & curse of free will. I have learned that NO ONE or NOTHING can make it happen for you. YOU have to want it for yourself. The power is within you. If you want it...you CAN get it! It's as simple, and as difficult as that. Stop beating yourself up, blaming, holding your head down...it's time for a change! It's time to take control of your life & make it ALL you've ever wanted it to be! Life is MUCH too short to wait ANY longer! The time is NOW! 2012 is YOUR year! Go out there & get it! I love you & I believe in you!
