I Hope You Feel Beautiful Today

Happy Friday, my Beautiful Flowers.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Mine's been tough, but it's gettin' better every day.
Cliff's Notes Version...
I received a call from my Mama on Sunday, saying that my Uncle (her Brother) was rushed to the hospital in Missouri & that she was leaving asap to go see him. Of course I said "I'm going too" & we got all packed & left first thing Monday morning. We've spent the week at his bedside, & although he was/is...in a lot of pain...he seemed to be hanging in there & was in good spirits. Then yesterday afternoon, while we were eating lunch...we received the call that he took a turn for the worst & was unconscious & rushed to ICU. They're still not sure if he had a stroke, or what exactly caused this changed. We spent all day with him today in ICU & since he's doing much better (Thank God)...the Dr's said he'll be moved back to his original floor in the morning. So...that's where I've been these last few days, & as much I know you'll all understand...I just never want you to think I'm MIA on purpose, or that I'll ever forget about you. As you can imagine though...I haven't even had a second to be on my computer. So much so, that I had absolutely NO IDEA about the fires in Colorado, & that my Best Friend & her family were one of the many families to be evacuated. She knew what I was going through & didn't even want to call me. Silly Girl. NEVER again, Tam. NEVER again. LOL. Thank the Lord...her house was spared & all of them are just fine & were able to go back home & sleep in their beds tonight. Sometimes it sure is tough growing up, huh? My heart & prayers go out to everyone in Colorado & to all of those who weren't as fortunate. I'll tell you what though...these few days have been such a huge wake up call to never take any moment for granted & to focus all our energy on the only thing that matters in this world...Love. Love one another & be there in their time of need. On this crazy roller coaster we call life...sometimes we're on top, but in a split second...the bottom is right under our feet. Take some time in your days to walk a little slower, smell the roses, & truly enjoy all the beauty around you. After all...not one of us is promised tomorrow, so be sure to make it count! I love you all & wish you the sweetest of dreams. Hold your loved ones extra tight & make sure to count your blessings. Life truly is a gift.

Migraine, Migraine Go Away...

Hi Sweethearts.

So sorry about my absence lately. I wish I could say I was out painting' the town red, but the truth is...instead of red...I was home in bed. Migraines took over my entire week! And I mean...took over! I was out of commission for literally 7 days! But...a few Dr. appointments, acupuncture & chiropractic sessions, R&R, & love from my B...I am finally feeling like me again! I'll tell you what...it's so easy to take good health for granted, but now...I appreciate it so so much! Other than the usual stress...I'm still not sure what else is causing them so frequently now, but after I do an MRI & full exam...I should know a lot more. For now...I'm just stoked to be free again! I've always had them, but usually about one horrible one a year. SO easy to deal with. Lately though...honest to God...about one every other day. No bueno...AT ALL! If any of you suffer from them too...I definitely feel your pain. And if you've never had one...you're a lucky lucky girl! Count your blessings...twice! LOL! It literally feels like my lovely picture above. Like someone is squeezing the crap outta your skull! Good Times! LMAO! 

On to the good news...I'll be posting not one, but two Giveaways tomorrow! Yeay! One for reaching 200+ Followers/Friends (I can't tell you how much I appreciate you all) called "Hello Kitty Heaven" (Thank you, Jenna! I love & appreciate you & your input!) & my "4th of July" one as well!

Green Smoothie for Weight Loss?

Hey Gorgeous Ones!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend & that you're ready to conquer this brand new week!

After B & I ate an entire dozen of Krispy Kreme doughnuts this weekend (true story)...it's time to get my booty in gear...again! So...I wanted to share one of my favorite "green recipes" with you! 

 It’s a fast, easy, and delicious way to get a big dose of vitamins and minerals, plus it tastes FANTASTIC!!

Don’t let the color fool you! It's sweet and filling – even your kids will love it! They love to name it the “Monster Smoothie” or “Shreck Smoothie” or some other fun name but believe me, kids go crazy for it! And... it’s a great way to sneak in some powerful green nutrition into their diet.

It's super fast to make for breakfast, or a snack...& perfect for us on the go, or anyone trying to lose weight.

It takes about 1 min to make, literally!

This recipe is super simple. All you need is a blender and the following ingredients:

 

-1-2 bananas

-frozen peaches

-frozen mango

-a couple handfuls of spinach

-water

- ice (if desired)

Add enough water to blend and enjoy, that’s it! Forget the dehydrating morning latte and get the glow with a Green Smoothie instead.

People swear by these. 

I haven't had them long enough to know yet, but I'm on my way! 

Great for weight loss, digestive health, supporting the immune system, and as a healthy and filling snack. 

After a couple of weeks you’ll have that ‘Glow’ – glowing skin, hair, nails, even eyes get brighter! 

Who doesn’t want that, right?

Try any combo you like, all you need is a base of bananas, fruit of your choice and a couple handfuls of your favorite green (I like spinach as it has a really mild flavor that blends well).

Go ahead, try it!  It may just change your life!
