Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

Thank you for this post! It is right on time for me. I am having a really hard time lately. I think instinctively you might know that. It is 100% related to my job and, a bitter, lonely woman whose insecurity insists that she treat me badly. Sorry! Ha. Well, it is the truth. I know you can relate to job drama. Hopefully, it will be resolved soon. I internalize stress and, it eats me up. SO, I am around, just not my usual self right now. Thanks again for this beautiful, touching message. Love ya a whole bunch! XOXO
ReplyDeleteAwww..Sweetheart. I am SO SO sorry. Mean People Suck & you KNOW I can relate 100%! =) How in the world could someone be mean to YOU? She is as miserable as they come! =) Just remember the words you told me that night & I know they'll ring true for you too. It's NEVER anything personal. NEVER forget that. When people are in pain they like to be a pain & it's nothing about you at all. But...I know how bad it hurts though & how much I carry that with me too. Light attracts the darkness, but stay strong & don't ever let ANYONE dim yours. You are as beautiful as it gets & everyone knows it. INCLUDING, ESPECIALLY...her. =) I love you the very same & as hard as it is...try not to take it personal. SHINE BABY SHINE!!! =) You are loved far beyond measure & I am ALWAYS here if you need me! Sleep With The Angels. XO
